Katja Roese

Katja Roese è nata a Lahr (Germania meridionale) nel 1985 e si è formata come libraia dopo il diploma di scuola superiore. Affascinata dal potere delle parole, ha poi studiato letteratura tedesca a Friburgo e Berlino. Oggi lavora per una casa editrice scientifica nel settore della distribuzione di eBook e delle collaborazioni.
Quando la pandemia ha fermato la vita, ha iniziato i suoi primi tentativi di scrittura durante il lockdown. In breve tempo, questa si è trasformata in una nuova passione e sono nati diversi racconti. Attualmente sta lavorando al suo primo romanzo Litterra – Aufstand der Buchstaben (Litterra – La rivolta delle lettere).

Katja Roese was born in Lahr (southern Germany) in 1985 and trained as a bookseller after graduating from high school. Fascinated by the power of words, she then studied German Literature in Freiburg and Berlin. Today she works for a scientific publishing house in the areas of eBook distribution and partnerships.
When the pandemic brought life to a halt, she started her first writing attempts during the lockdown. This quickly developed into a new passion and several short stories were born. She is currently working on her first novel Litterra – Aufstand der Buchstaben (Litterra – The Letter Uprising).
